Agent – the ‘property kind’ rather than the 007 ”shaken not stirred’ kind.
Mumpreneur - a woman who combines running a business with looking after her children, multi-tasking in the extreme. Now that ‘mumpreneur’ is an official ‘new word’ in the Collins English dictionary, its now not necessary to separate the two words when explaining one’s existence, not just being a working mum, but an entrepreneur to boot!
A bit more ‘ABOUT ME’. I was born, UP NORTH, terraced house, the original two up, two down, no mod cons. The only real job I’ve had, meaning having to pay PAYE and Employee NIC, was a stint at Mothercare. The ‘Manageress’ (not so PC back then) had high hopes for me, “Gail,” she says, “fancy working in the office, it’s a step up”, I couldn’t breath. So since then I’ve pretty much been self-employed and for the past twenty years in property, mainly in North London.
I’m the one with her nose in other estate agents ‘windows’, with her children tutting and pulling at her coat. They are so bored with by the mention of property and rightly so, too young. BUT not me;
